Sonali Shah
Marketing Manager
From an early age, Sonali felt a powerful connection to animals. She eventually started funneling this passion into the creation of paintings and photography that depict the spirit of animals and nature—www.studiosonali.com. A conservationist at heart, she uses her art to disseminate the beauty and value of wild animals and nature.
She has traveled the world to appreciate wildlife in their natural habitat—brown bears in Alaska, black bears in British Columbia, endangered Bengal tigers in India and most recently lions on a conservation project in Zimbabwe, Africa. Sonali enjoys learning about the behaviors and characteristics unique to each species and believes the conservation of wildlife is critical to our global ecosystem.
Sonali earned her MBA in Marketing from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has over a decade of brand strategy and marketing communications experience for numerous leading brands. Capitalizing on her marketing background, she is always looking for unique ways to raise awareness of conservation issues. Currently, in addition to painting and photography, she is writing a conservation-based screenplay about the sad reality of canned hunting of lions in Africa with the goal of raising awareness of and ending this cruel practice.
When she is not traveling or painting, you can find her hiking the hills of Marin County with her chocolate lab, Teddy.
