June 29 2007, Bay Conference Center, Tiburon

WILD CATS: Charisma, Conflict and Conservation was an educational evening that brought awareness to the uniqueness, significance and fragility of the worlds 37 Felid Species. Zara McDonald Felidae Conservation Fund Executive director presented on our mission, current projects and gave a brief overview of the 37 Felidae species. There were also presentations by guest Dr. Winston Vickers of the UC Davis Wildlife Health Center and Dr Som Ale presented on his recent work on the conservation of snow leopards in Nepal. There was plenty of great food and wine, a silent auction, raffle and live music provided by classical guitarist Renzo. Rob and Barbara Dicely of Leopards Etc. provided a special treat by introducing an ambassador mountain lion, cheetah and lynx.
