Felidae Conservation Fund Volunteer and Internship Opportunites

Volunteer Opportunities

As a non-profit organization, volunteers are a vital and invaluable part of Felidae Conservation Fund. There are volunteer opportunities for all ages, including children. Our volunteer opportunities are listed below:

1. Event-Related Opportunities:

a. Runners: Runners pick up items related to the event a week before the event and deliver them to the Felidae office.

b. Creative-minded cooks and caterers to plan menus and prepare food for events.

c. Venue set-up assistance on the day of the event.

d. During the Events: During an event we need volunteers to guide and serve guests, sell merchandise/raffle tickets, and assist with cleanup at the close of the event.

2. Felidae welcomes all donations of professional service and materials to enable us to continue to operate with a low overhead.

3. If there are other contributions that you believe would be valuable to Felidae, don't hesitate to contact us.

If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please email info@felidaefund.org. Provide your name and volunteer interest/s in the email. If you decide to volunteer, a Felidae staff member will help familiarize you with your new volunteer endeavor. Felidae asks that volunteers familiarize themselves with the organization and with our projects.

Internship Opportunities

Felidae also offers internships to college students interested in ecology and conservation. Interns gain an experience where they learn the world of wild cat research, education and conservation. They become skilled in methods of field work as well as in fundraising, speaking and bookkeeping. The internship does not provide monetary compensation. This is a volunteer-based internship.

Our internships consist of office-related work, combined with Field Opportunities. Office-related work and event-related work are prerequisites to Field Work Opportunities.

The length of an internship is variable, ranging from 6 weeks to 2 years. Felidae requires that interns become familiar with Felidae and keep consistent weekly hours.

To learn more or to become an intern, please email info@felidaefund.org.
