Community science is all about getting people involved in their area. It empowers them to work together and make changes. Together, we can collect data, change policy, and shift perspective. You can become a community scientist to help with wildlife conservation today!

One easy way to do this is to get involved with Wilde Backyard. This is our community stewardship project to collect information across the country! The information we collect helps us understand and study wild cats in different ecosystems.

Our volunteers work an average of 6-8 hours a month. They help with events, keep up our social media, work in the field, and more! We have in-person and virtual volunteer opportunities for people of all ages - and every one of them help us save endangered cats.

The biggest change starts at home! We know and live alongside our neighbors and we face the same wild cat challenges as they do. When we make community decisions, we make them together. So it’s important to start spreading awareness in your neighborhood today!

Why Spreading Awareness Matters Learn How Kids Can Help

One of our most impactful outreaches are events! We are currently offering in-person and online events. These include informational meetings, fundraisers, and more. We’re always looking for people to help host and promote events in their local areas. This way, we can spread information and earn funds to help endangered wild cats.

If volunteering and donating is not right for you, that’s okay! There are still ways you can help the Felidae Conservation Fund and wild cat conservation in your everyday life.

We also offer legacy giving. This means you can add the Felidae Conservation Fund to your estate, and secure healthy ecosystems for future generations.

And, lastly, you can consider how your every day actions impact your local ecosystem!
